Tools amplify the inner logic of the operator; without inner work they accelerate decline.
Mechanism: Technology is neutral toward purpose – not toward logic. It multiplies what is already present. In a system oriented toward control, AI generates more control. In a system oriented toward care, AI generates more care. The operator's logic decides – not the tool.
Fields of occurrence: Digital administration (automates exclusion instead of participation), social-media algorithms (amplify division instead of connection), medical diagnostic AI (optimises metrics, not health), educational technology (measures performance, does not support development).
Recognition indicator: When the introduction of technology makes a system's fundamental problems faster, cheaper, or more invisible – rather than dissolving them.
